"Move over" is the incadescent herald from the Samsung camp. "Cast out thine evil Casio FX calculators".
Just a few years back there wasn't anything I could't do on my noble FX steed, yet the tempremental mistress of time has cast her ballot, thus born a champion amongst us.

At less than 10 inches this is of similar size to my trusty Casio, and probably weighs a bit less too! The stats? 9.something inch screen, 1.6Ghz Atom, 120GB HD and 1 gig ram. All very familiar in the savage "me too" netbook market, but an awesome keyboard, properly placed mouse buttons and a staggering 7 hour battery at 50% brightness means this is a winner. Firmly at the top of my Tokyo/Christmas list.

It's been a while since my eyes perchanced such beauty, and at first glance this unpalatable beast reeks of a misspent youth.



But, as old Bill himself will tell you, the journey from Chicago to 95 represented one of the biggest advancements of all time. Rivalling Victorian engineering and Lord Admiral Nelson himself, the leap to the 95 platform should be celebrated with it's own day.

But since then what have we become? Complacent in our ways we only made the start button rounder, and whats next after the circular button that graces our vista screens?
In order to progress we need to invent. Captain Bill and Mark (Shuttleworth of Ubuntu fame) of the Spaceship B0uj3m0ng took us to higher levels, but now it is time for us to embrace the unknown and stand firm and away from the footsteps of our computing fathers.

The time is now, the time has come.
The new age is dawning...sailors walked the short distance from the submarines of old to the spaceships of new.

Prepare for a journey into the unknown, as interstellar sailing begin, starting infrequently at first, they will build until the revalations of the cosmos are finally with us.
